Offender Health (Prison & Custody Suite Nurses)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join a specialist Offender Health division, focusing on the supply of Prison Nurses, Custody Suite Nurses, and other healthcare professionals across secure and justice settings.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding market, offering strong growth potential and the chance to make a genuine difference by supporting critical healthcare services within the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full 360 recruitment process for Offender Health placements, including prisons, custody suites, and secure units.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients such as NHS trusts, private providers, and justice sector organisations.
  • Source, screen, and place qualified nurses and healthcare staff across permanent and temporary roles.
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage existing client accounts.
  • Ensure all compliance, vetting, and security clearance processes are adhered to.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within healthcare, nursing, or criminal justice recruitment.
  • Knowledge of Offender Health or Forensic Nursing sectors (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
