Recruitment Consultant – Droitwich – 4-day week (with 5 days pay!) – Part Office (Droitwich) / Part Home-Based

As a Recruitment Consultant with a focus on both account management and new business development, you’ll be at the forefront of our continued business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and expand our client base, identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as conducting account management, working with an established database (evolved since 2012), ensuring that their recruitment goals are delivered effectively and on-time in line with our existing service level agreements. You will be responsible for both new business and growing and nurturing our key accounts within market-leading companies within agriculture, farming, and related sectors globally. You will be supported by a great resourcing team to help you find the best candidates in the market.

Job Purpose:

  • To fulfill Client briefs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • To deliver a superior service every time to both Clients and Candidates.
  • To build, manage, and grow Client relationships and add value to the Client proposition offering.
  • Maintain and develop strategically important relationships with key accounts.
  • Leverage relationships to identify wider business opportunities for other departments.
  • Proactively cross-sell at all times.
  • Conduct new business development to achieve strategic sales goals.
  • Update the team on latest developments within their Client base and market.
  • Manage Client and Candidate expectations.
  • Work closely with an established Resourcing Team to find the best candidates.
  • Ensure regular and timely client reviews are conducted.
  • Facilitate Client Call Backs to monitor performance levels and maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitor own performance and adhere to SLA (Service Level Agreements) for each client.
  • Produce SLAs for all jobs, including timeframes and Key Success Factors (KSFs).

Essential Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 18 months proven recruitment sales experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and other office packages.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Good team-working skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to converse at Senior and Board level.
  • Good negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great telephone manner.
  • Ability to follow processes.
  • Target/goal-oriented.
  • Positive/enthusiastic attitude.
  • Coachable and eager to learn.
  • Highly driven and ambitious.

Salary and Benefits:

Excellent salary and benefits package (£27,000 - £32,500 basic, dependent on experience) plus a fantastic commission structure that could see you earning £78,000 OTE in your first year, including a 4-day workweek with 5 days pay! Hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch, full training, ongoing support, company pension, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, top performer incentives, salary extras, bonuses, rewards, team holidays, events, and a clear career progression path.
