Here at Driver Hire York & Harrogate, we have an opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our existing team and help drive our business to new heights. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a team member. This is an office-based role.

Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics Recruitment Company. We offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work, and driver training.

As a Recruiter, you will be engaged in the full spectrum of temporary recruitment:

1. Visiting existing and new Clients 2-3 days a week
2. Face-to-face and telephone interviewing of Candidates
3. Fulfilling Clients' booking requirements
4. Temporary Recruitment

Working out of our York office, this role will focus on:

1. Advertising vacancies, headhunting
2. Candidate interviews and registration
3. New client acquisition, supporting existing clients
4. Supporting marketing activities
5. On-call rota

Previous experience in a recruitment/sales role is desirable; however, in-house training will be provided along with a further 2-week residential/foundation course.

You must have a full UK Driving Licence and live within reasonable commuting distance of YO26. Own transport is required to enable client visits.

The Rewards for working with Driver Hire:

• Basic salary of £24,000 plus a bonus scheme with potential OTE of over £30,000
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, subject to office demands
• Holidays will be 28 days per year, including bank holidays. This will increase by 1 day per year (up to 5 years), plus an extra paid day off for your birthday
