Are you a driven and committed recruiter looking for your next venture?

We have an exciting role for a Recruitment Consultant to cover Southampton and surrounding areas such as Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.

You will be covering the dynamic Engineering sector, an industry whereby roles are consistently in high demand due to the critical nature of the work involved. Companies are always on the lookout for talented engineers to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage!

Location: 1st Floor, Grove House, Meridians Cross, 6 Ocean Way, Southampton, SO14 3TJ

Hybrid working: 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home after the initial transition period.

Salary: £26,000- £35,000 dependent on previous level of recruitment experience) plus uncapped commission earning potential

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday

Contract: Full time and permanent

What You'll Be Doing?

  • Comprehensive Sales and 360 Recruitment Process: Take charge of the entire recruitment cycle, emphasising business development and client acquisition. From initial job briefings and candidate sourcing to conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and closing deals, you'll be at the forefront of driving revenue growth.
  • Proactive Candidate Sourcing: Leverage job boards, referrals, and headhunting techniques via platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter. Actively source candidates through advertising, social media, and referrals. Register and interview candidates, conduct thorough background checks, and match them with suitable job opportunities. Ensure timely and effective promotion of candidates for interviews to fill vacancies promptly.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, providing exceptional service and expert advice. Network extensively to build a robust client base and drive sales, ensuring a steady stream of business opportunities.
  • Collaborative Success: Work closely with your colleagues to ensure the overall success of the branch. Maximise cross-selling opportunities and contribute to a collaborative team environment that drives collective achievement.
