Kenect Recruitment is looking for an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in the Manchester branch. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is eager to make a real impact in the recruitment industry.

About the Role

As a Recruitment Consultant at Kenect Recruitment, you will take on a 360-degree role providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions primarily within the Transport, Industrial & Commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* End-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates
* Business development through sales, cold calling, and networking
* Building strong client relationships and understanding recruitment needs
* Meeting and exceeding sales targets and weekly branch budgets
* Conducting client meetings (virtually and in person, as appropriate)
* Account management and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
* Advertising vacancies across online job boards and social media platforms
* Completing reference checks and compliance documentation
* Matching suitable candidates to client vacancies
* Rotating on-call duties as part of the team

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
* Early finish on Fridays (workload dependent)

Person Specification

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Target-driven with a proven track record of success in recruitment or sales
* Confident, articulate, and comfortable selling at all levels
* A skilled communicator with excellent customer service abilities
* Proficient in administration with strong organisational skills
* A motivated self-starter seeking career progression
* Experienced in both business development and account management
