Job description

Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 + Uncapped Commission

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15am start during school term time

If you're Fuelled by Routine, Focused on Results, and Driven by Purpose, this could be the career move you’ve been waiting for.

At Milk Education, we’re shaping futures. We work in genuine partnership with schools and communities across the UK to drive real social change through education. We’re proud to call ourselves a purpose-driven agency—because for us, recruitment is about impact, not just numbers.

We’re looking for recruitment professionals who show up, work hard, and care deeply about what they do. If you say you’ll do something, you make sure it gets done. Whether you’ve built discipline through sport, excelled in high-performance industries like luxury retail, or you're simply someone who takes pride in their standards—we see you.

This is your chance to grow your recruitment career while helping shape the next generation.

What the role involves:

During your first nine months as a Trainee, you’ll operate in a 180 role as part of your structured training period. You’ll be working closely with one of our top-performing consultants within the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) space. This hands-on experience includes attending school meetings, supporting candidate journeys from initial registration through to placement, and gaining a deep understanding of what makes recruitment in education truly impactful.

Once you’ve developed confidence and a clear grasp of both client and candidate sides, you’ll naturally transition into a full 360 Recruitment consultant role with ownership of your own desk.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll manage your own desk and be the go-to partner for the schools and educators you support. You’ll build long-term relationships, match top-tier talent with meaningful roles, and contribute to real impact in education.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Are disciplined and self-motivated, with a strong personal routine
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional service, even under pressure
  • Are goal-oriented and thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Want to be part of something bigger—helping others succeed while advancing your own career

What we offer:

  • £26,000 - £28,000 starting salary with a clear and achievable monthly commission structure
  • Ongoing training from industry professionals + a transparent progression path
  • Hybrid working after probation
  • Wellness benefits: Private online GP, mental health support, critical illness cover
  • Free mortgage & financial consultations
  • Regular socials, team incentives, and a culture built on care—not pressure

A day in the life:

  • Partnering with schools to understand their needs and challenges
  • Finding and placing the right educators into roles that make a real difference
  • Managing your pipeline and performance through our CRM and tech tools
  • Hitting goals, solving problems, and celebrating success with your team
  • Owning and growing a desk you can be proud of
