Kingdom People, due to recent growth, is looking to add to our successful fulfilment team based in central Havant. This creates an opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant.

This will be a fast-paced recruitment role engaging with our temporary workers and clients daily, both in the office and on client sites.

Where: Havant

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, with on-call requirements based on a rota including evenings and weekends

Salary: £25,500.00 per annum + competitive commission

Role and Responsibilities

You will manage existing client relationships, develop new business, source suitable candidates, and recruit temporary workers.

Your duties will include:

  • Client management—proactively manage day-to-day relationships
  • Candidate registration, interviews, and selection
  • Attracting quality applicants using all available methods and ensuring candidates are entered into the CRM
  • Investigating new clients, following up leads, and gathering market information
  • Using the SWEEP method for prospecting and making regular business development calls
  • Promoting yourself positively via social media such as LinkedIn
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and candidates
  • Attending client visits to promote recruitment services
  • Monitoring market conditions and competitor activities, providing reports
  • Updating client information in the CRM
  • Adhering to ISO procedures and GDPR policies
  • Completing weekly temporary payroll (if applicable)
  • Supporting inductions, check-ins, reviews, and planning meetings on-site (if applicable)
  • Covering out-of-hours phone duties, evenings, weekends, and occasionally onsite during busy periods (if applicable)
  • Providing weekly statistics as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements

GCSEs (C or above) in English and Mathematics are essential.

Skills Required

Excellent communication skills, IT literacy, good interpersonal skills (face-to-face, telephone, email), attention to detail, self-motivated, ability to multitask, and work in a busy environment.

Additional Notes

A driving license is required.
