Recruitment Consultant

Silver Arrow are looking for an experienced recruitment consultant to join our office based in Birchwood - Warrington.

We specialise in the recruitment of HGV Drivers; however, if you have recruitment experience from a different sector please get in touch!

Your Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 30 Minute Lunch & Early Finish Friday!

Your Salary:

• £27,000 pa
• Commission structure and bonus scheme.
• Paid On Call Rota

Your Role:

• Managing and placing into work existing and new HGV Class 1, 2 and Van drivers
• Dealing with multiple drivers and clients and problem solving to maximise the number of shifts placed
• Registering new drivers
• Building and maintaining solid relationships with drivers & clients
• Completing new sales calls/meetings & business development
• Ensuring impeccable standards of communication and teamwork!
• You will be working within a busy team with the common goal of maximising shift numbers
• Maintaining the compliance of existing drivers
• Taking part in a paid 24-hour on call rota which will involve occasional weekends
• Adherence to existing CRM and office processes/procedures is vital.

What we need from you:

• Full Driving Licence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, resilient and conscientious
• An excellent and confident telephone manner
• Have a passion for working with people and problem solving
• The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and adapt when priorities can quickly change.
• An eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
• Excellent I.T skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the hunger and tenacity to maximise shift numbers by placing as many drivers into work as possible, while building relationships with both drivers & clients. Phone shy need not apply! You will be working in a fast-paced environment with an urgency to place drivers quickly in order to support our clients.
