Job description

Job Description: Lanesra Technical Recruitment is a respected engineering recruitment consultancy founded in 1999, supplying experienced personnel to blue chip organisations throughout the UK. We operate predominantly within the Water, Energy from Waste and Environmental sectors and have built a deserved reputation for our integrity and professionalism.

Our candidates are drawn from all engineering and commercial disciplines and range from Directors and Senior Managers to Site Staff.

We are currently looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant or an individual who has a strong desire to succeed and who is willing to learn about the industries we supply.

Duties will include:
  • Growing your own network of candidates and clients, building relationships and gaining knowledge of the sectors we cover to develop an understanding of our clients’ recruitment needs.
  • Providing a full recruitment service, from initial job brief, through candidate selection to final placement, providing excellent levels of service at every stage of the process.
  • Maintaining our candidate management system, including updating of candidate details, editing and updating CVs, checking skills, logging key data such as calls, interviews and placements.
  • Placing of adverts and handling responses to review suitability against vacancies and matching candidates’ skills to clients’ requirements.
Minimum Requirements:

The most important attribute of the successful candidate will be their positive attitude. A certain level of experience would be preferred, including:

  • An excellent telephone manner and the ability to provide high levels of customer service.
  • A professional approach to both clients and candidates.
  • Strong IT and software skills.
  • An understanding and appreciation of engineering and the industries and the disciplines involved.
  • The role would also suit a recent engineering graduate who is looking to develop a new career.

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to succeed, coupled with the ability to generate business and be a dedicated team player.
