Are you a driven and people-focused individual looking to take the next step in your recruitment career? Rapier Employment is seeking a dynamic 360 -Recruitment Consultant to join our Wakefield team. In this fast-paced, client-focused role, you’ll manage the full recruitment cycle across a diverse range of industries, helping businesses find the right talent while building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their hiring needs and workplace culture
- Create and manage engaging job adverts across multiple platforms and social media channels
- Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, etc.)
- Support candidates throughout the recruitment process—from initial contact to interview preparation and offer negotiation
- Accurately maintain and update client and candidate records within the recruitment database
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and salary benchmarks to provide consultative support to clients and candidates

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Recruiter, or in a similar role (agency or in-house)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational abilities and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in using recruitment systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- A solid understanding of recruitment practices and sourcing techniques
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
