Job description

Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £27,500 + commission (On target earnings £40,000)

We are seeking a sales-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Bristol office in our small team. Your primary focus will be to develop and nurture relationships within organisations in our sector, conducting business development (sales calls) to meet with recruitment teams, directors, line managers, and other key stakeholders.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will recruit the best and most experienced candidates for roles across a professional sector. This role is sales-based, with commission alongside your base salary, offering the potential to earn up to £40,000 in your first year.

Our extensive contacts include technical housing staff, senior appointments, administration posts, and registered one-to-one services.

Working in social housing and social care requires high ethical standards. With increasing pressures to address the nation's housing shortage, finding motivated, qualified, and trustworthy team players is vital. At Rocasa, our flexible approach and sector expertise help us succeed where others may not.

Our clients range from local authorities to housing associations and social landlords across the UK. We operate on permanent, temporary, and ad-hoc emergency cover bases.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Making cold and sales calls to prospective clients to promote our services
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with organisations and decision-makers
  • Engaging in face-to-face meetings with recruitment professionals, directors, and managers
  • Sourcing, screening, and recruiting top-tier candidates
  • Drafting reports, ensuring compliance, and participating in internal projects
  • Working towards daily targets and KPIs to meet financial goals
  • Managing a pool of temporary workers, assessing performance and availability
  • Participating in a rota for on-call duties, providing a 24/7 service (weekdays and weekends), with incentives offered

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility required.
