Job summary

Academics Ltd in Birmingham is expanding and seeking a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Education sector team. You’ll build strong school relationships, source and place education professionals, and deliver a high level of service.

We welcome recruiters from education or high-volume temp backgrounds who want cross-sector training and a stable, supportive culture with uncapped commission. Salary ranges from £27k–£32k with uncapped commission, and full training plus career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or B2B sales.
• Education sector experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Strong relationship-building skills and commercial awareness.
• Proactive, driven and resilient mindset in a fast-paced environment.

We're expanding our Birmingham office and are looking for a driven, confident Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. Whether you’re already working in Education recruitment, or come from a high-volume temp background (like Industrial, Catering or Construction), we’d love to hear from you — we offer full cross-sector training.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing strong relationships with new and existing schools
• Sourcing, interviewing, and placing education professionals
• Writing job adverts and managing candidate pipelines
• Arranging interviews and managing placements
• Negotiating contracts and delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates

What we’re looking for:
