Qualifications

• Coordinate modern slavery consultants and manage audit programmes.
• Run internal and external audits on sites and labour providers.
• Manage the full skilled worker visa lifecycle.

We'reworkingwithoneoftheUK'sleadingFoodManufacturerstofindanexperienced Recruitment Compliance Officer whogetsRecruitmentComplianceinsideout.

Areyoureadytomakeanactualchange?

You'llbeprotectingvulnerableworkers,keepingsitescompliantwithmodernslaverylegislation,managingskilledworkervisas,andmakingsureethicalstandardsareactuallylivedandbreathedacross15UKandIrelandlocations.

You'llowntherelationshipwithexternalauditors,managetheSEDEXplatform,carryoutsupplierduediligence,andtrainsiteteamstospotwarningsignsbeforetheybecomeproblems.Whenthingsdogowrong,you'llleadinvestigationswithexternalconsultantsandemploymentlawsupport.

Thisisaseniorrolewithrealautonomy.You'llreportdirectlytotheHRDirector,workacrossthebusinessateverylevel,andhavegenuineinfluenceoverhowthecompanyoperates.

Whatyou'llbedoing:

• Coordinatingmodernslaveryconsultantsandmanagingethicalauditprogrammes(SMETA)
• Runninginternalandexternalauditsonsitesandlabourproviders
• Managingthefullskilledworkervisalifecycle:allocatingcertificatesofsponsorship,reviewingapplications,coordinatingarrivals,handlingrenewals
• KeepingthebusinesscompliantwithUKVIreportingandconductingimmigrationspotchecks
• Carryingouthumanrightsriskassessmentsandduediligenceacrossthesupplychain
• Traininghiringmanagers,siteHRteamsandotherdepartmentsonrighttowork,modernslaveryprevention,andethicalrecruitment
• Managingaccommodationcomplianceincludingsafetychecksandstandardsaudits
• Writingandupdatingpolicydocumentsthatactuallygetused
• Buildingrelationshipswithsuppliers,labourproviders,andmanagementteamstoresolveissuesbeforetheyescalate

Whatyou'llneed:

• StrongexperienceinEthicalCompliance,RecruitmentCompliance,orSocialAuditing(ideallyinfood,agriculture,FMCGormanufacturing)
• SolidknowledgeofUKemploymentlaw,theModernSlaveryAct,andrighttoworklegislation
• ExperiencemanagingethicalsupplychainsandworkingwithstandardslikeETIorSEDEX
• Comfortableworkingacrosssiteswithdiverseteams,fromshopfloortoboardroom
• Highintegrity,wellorganised,andabletomanagecompetingprioritieswithoutneedingyourhandheld
