Job Description:

St John and St Elizabeth Hospital is delighted to offer this new and exciting opportunity to a target-driven recruiter. This is a dual role. The Post Holder will be supported by the Recruitment Manager and will be responsible for driving recruitment campaigns and managing talents in the hospital. Responsibilities include undertaking safe and fair recruitment activities both externally and internally, reducing vacancies, and increasing applications and job offers.

The post holder will provide practical support to the Recruitment Manager and the Recruitment Team on vacancy reduction and hard-to-recruit roles. They will be an expert in managing recruitment job boards and social media campaigns, supporting the recruitment process, managing vacancies, supporting candidates through onboarding, and assisting with retention and ad-hoc projects. The post holder may deputise for the recruitment manager as required and will participate in day-to-day administration of recruitment and retention activities. This role supports both clinical and non-clinical recruitment, including bank appointments.

Responsibilities as the Recruitment Campaign & Talent Acquisition Lead:

  • Identify multiple work streams for candidate attraction, focusing on reducing vacancies across the hospital, collaborating with hiring managers to select the most effective platforms.
  • Manage own recruitment activities efficiently within KPIs.
  • Support recruitment coordinators with guidance and monitor metrics for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Hospital Marketing team to produce cost-effective social media campaigns and enhance online presence.
  • Champion the use of automated recruitment systems and support the team and stakeholders to maximize their benefits.
  • Maintain the recruitment log according to policies and procedures.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain confidence in the resourcing and retention functions.
  • Ensure candidates and hiring managers receive relevant documentation promptly for interviews.

Ideal Candidate for this Role:

  • Graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Substantial experience in designing and delivering attraction campaigns and assessment centres.
  • Proven experience managing recruitment campaigns and events.
  • Good experience with marketing and social media.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and automation for efficiencies.
  • Experience working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • Enthusiasm for improving systems, processes, and service delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and provide workable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
