Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data-Driven Recruitment: Use recruitment data and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, turning insights into actionable results. Regularly present findings to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, department heads, and leadership. Ensure their recruitment needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  3. Consultative Approach: Provide expert consultation on recruitment strategies, offering solutions to improve the candidate experience, hiring processes, and recruitment outcomes. Advise on market trends and industry best practices.
  4. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Work with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  5. Market Insights: Regularly feedback to the business on market trends, challenges, and competitor activity, ensuring the company stays competitive in the talent market.
  6. Feedback & Accountability: Hold stakeholders accountable to recruitment goals and timelines. Ensure feedback loops are established and maintained to understand why certain recruitment strategies are or aren't working.
  7. Leadership & Prioritisation: Lead efforts to prioritise recruitment needs, ensuring that time and resources are used effectively. Support the leadership team by providing guidance on recruitment strategies and resource allocation.
  8. Problem Solving: Identify and address challenges in the recruitment process, particularly with regard to first-stage interviews and candidate engagement. Offer suggestions for improvement and work collaboratively to implement solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Recruitment Business Partner should have the following:

  1. Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and metrics and turn them into actionable insights and strategies.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and key business stakeholders.
  3. Consultative Expertise: Ability to advise, guide, and influence business leaders on recruitment strategies, process improvements, and market trends.
  4. Recruitment Knowledge: In-depth understanding of recruitment processes, challenges, and market dynamics, especially in relation to first-stage interviews and candidate selection.
  5. Process Improvement: Experience in evaluating, redesigning, and optimising recruitment workflows to increase efficiency and improve outcomes.
  6. Leadership & Accountability: Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and hold stakeholders accountable to recruitment objectives.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  8. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues within recruitment strategies and offer creative, data-backed solutions.
  9. Ideal background, although not essential, is RPO experience.
