Job description

Our client is an award-winning global law firm who have an exceptional reputation within Real Estate and M&A work. They are now looking for a hardworking and bright Recruitment Assistant on a 6 month contract basis to join their Leeds or Birmingham office.

The Recruitment Assistant primary responsibilities for the role is providing administrative support for the lateral recruitment of all fee-earning and non-fee-earning staff across all UK offices but mainly Birmingham and Leeds.

Key Duties Include:

  • Assisting in the recruitment process by posting adverts on websites, job boards and social media channels
  • Scheduling interviews and assessments, facilitating in person and virtual assessments and conducting right to work checks
  • Establishing interview availability, managing diaries and communicating with Hiring Manager’s
  • Providing application screening support to the Recruitment team
  • Providing input to develop and enhance the recruitment processes
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection standards (GDPR)
  • Supporting wider Recruitment projects and initiatives as and when required

The Recruitment Assistant will ideally be from an in-house recruiter, legal agency or professional services with experience of full lifecycle lateral recruitment. The right candidate will have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environments and be able to work credibly with senior stakeholders. Experience with MS Office Packages is essential. Along with possessing a flexible approach to working and the ability to manage own workloads.
