Job Purpose...
We're looking for a Regional Recruitment & Talent Manager within Loungers Ltd who will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for site management positions in partnership with Operations Managers and Regional Operation Managers in our Northern region, from Liverpool across to Newcastle spanning circa 60 sites. You will help to recruit the best external talent in the market through strong attraction and candidate engagement whilst having a keen interest in talent planning.
You will be the recruitment expert, working in partnership with Operations and Regional Operations Managers, to fill priority vacancies as well as provide support for other hard-to-fill vacancies across the region. Not only will you hire great candidates, but you will also play a vital role in reducing our turnover and understanding why people leave us. At the heart of it, you will be energized by finding the right talent, for the right roles through exceptional partnership and delivering a fantastic candidate experience from beginning to end. Additionally, you'll play a key part in our ongoing new site opening programme!
Full Responsibilities:
- Build strong partnerships with Regional and Operation Managers to understand recruitment and talent needs and prioritize accordingly.
- Proactively approach talent within the market for priority roles and manage the candidate experience through the selection process.
- Ensure the ATS is used effectively, including training and coaching site and operations managers where necessary.
- Stay informed about market offerings (pay & talent insights) and relay this information to influence decisions.
- Utilize job boards, media spend, candidate databases, and other means to attract candidates for current campaigns or future roles.
- Provide regular updates to Operations Managers, Regional Operations Manager, and Head of Talent on activity and progress.
- Drive social media use to attract candidates and enhance employer reputation.
- Build influential candidate relationships during recruitment and onboarding to ensure a positive experience.
- Support selection processes for new site openings and key salaried positions.
- Train hiring managers on loungers-specific assessment methods to ensure suitable hires and build their capability.
- Manage regional hiring events and assessment days for key hiring needs and new site openings.
- Conduct exit interviews for management leavers to gather insights on retention.
- Assist in talent planning to identify internal candidates for vacancies.
- Analyze key reports and share insights to focus on reducing 90-day leavers and areas needing support.
- Promote company-wide initiatives like the Referral Programme to support brand development and attraction.
About You...
- Builds strong rapport with candidates and is passionate about delivering an excellent candidate experience.
- Has strong knowledge and experience in best hiring practices, including candidate attraction (preferably in hospitality), screening, interviewing, and candidate journey management.
- Is an enthusiastic ambassador and fan of Loungers brands (Cosy, Lounge, Brightside).
- Exceptional talent spotting skills and ability to assess personality and potential.
- Extremely driven and persistent in overcoming challenges.
- Excellent literacy and attention to detail for reporting KPIs.
- Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and build trust across all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated, able to work efficiently under tight timelines and fast-paced environments.
