Job summary

NHS Orkney is offering a one-year secondment for an experienced NHS Scotland recruitment professional to broaden their experience within a small, supportive People Services team.

The role provides practical support to recruiting managers, covering agency staffing, recruitment marketing and wider People Services exposure, including HR and employee relations. Flexible, remote working is available and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS Scotland recruitment is essential.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes, checks and best practices within NHS Scotland.
• Experience supporting managers with recruitment and resourcing in a remote/rural context.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice and hands-on support to recruiting managers to attract and recruit the right people safely for their teams.
• Assist with agency staffing and recruitment marketing activities.
• Contribute to a wider People Services picture including exposure to HR and employee relations.
