Job description

Due to business growth, we have a new opportunity at Hamberley Care Homes for an individual with a passion for recruitment, administration, and regulatory compliance to join our team as a Recruitment Onboarding Administrator.

Reporting and Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, you will work within a supportive team, championing best practices within our regulated sector, and assist in delivering the recruitment strategy to support our care homes across the UK. This is an exciting, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day recruitment pre-employment checks to ensure compliance before new recruits start with us.
  • Work with Recruitment Business Partners to vet candidates in line with company policies.
  • Conduct employment checks including identity verification, right to work, references, DBS clearance, and visa sponsorship.
  • Maintain and seek improvements for the in-house recruitment ATS.
  • Assist in delivering the recruitment strategy and handle other administrative requests.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in recruitment, preferably within health and social care.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and onboarding processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
