Job summary

Empower Youth Zones is seeking a Sessional Youth Worker to support the Recreation and Activity Area at HideOut Youth Zone in Gorton or Salford Youth Zone in Pendleton. You will help deliver an exciting and engaging programme for young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for those with additional needs.

The role requires vigilance, positive behaviour management, and maintaining a clean, safe, and vibrant space that encourages exploration of big issues and FUN.

Responsibilities

• Create a lively, dynamic, and fun environment for all young people.
• Ensure space and equipment are maintained to be safe and ready for activities.
• Help design and run engaging programmes, debates, and events inside the recreation area.
