As Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all areas of the Recreation facilities are well maintained and ready for use, by ensuring immaculate hygiene standards – cleaning and sanitising each area after each use;

  • Supervising the pool area with basic lifeguard responsibilities (training provided, confidence in water required);
  • Opening or closing the facility;
  • Taking reservations and answering the telephone in the absence of the supervisor/receptionist.

As a Recreation Assistant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, afternoon and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

You will be the first point of contact for our VVIP Residents.

  • A proactive approach to their work;
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week including bank holidays.

In return, you will receive an array of iconic benefits, such as:

  • Excellent career progression with an iconic, luxury, global hotel brand.
  • Fantastic learning and development opportunities for all levels of staff.
  • Complimentary & discounted stays at our beautiful properties across the Group.
  • Access to discounts and deals with over 100 popular high street retailers.
  • Complimentary Westfield Healthcare cash plan, children added at no extra cost.
  • Friends & Family hotel rate and Spa discount.
  • Season ticket loan & cycle to work scheme.
  • Recruitment referral bonus.
  • Free meals on duty & uniform dry-cleaning services.
  • Increased holiday entitlement with Length of Service, up to 33 days off.
  • Free Life Insurance benefits whilst in service.
  • Company pension plan.
