About the position

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Arts & Crafts Center on RAF Lakenheath. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guarantee. Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. This is a developmental position. Target grade is NF-02.

Qualifying Experience

• Recreational Aid NF-01: Practical knowledge of Recreational Activities, rules and procedures is desirable. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable. Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements.
• Recreation Assistant NF-02: Must have experience in three (3) or more general Arts & Crafts activities, such as, but not limited to: embroidery, computers, woodwork, automotive, stained glass. Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements. Must have experience with a Point of Sale (POS) system. Must have experience in clerical duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items to include direct handling of cash, use of cash accountability and control methods. Must have work experience in double entry accounting procedures and techniques.
