Our team in Stoke on Trent are recruiting for Criminal Justice Recovery Workers, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. Criminal Justice Recovery Workers provide interventions for people who have involvement with the criminal justice system and cover a range of different areas. You will be expected to be based across the city, including within probation and custody. There will also be in reach required at different prisons, so a driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable. This role is also subject to enhanced vetting with Staffordshire Police. Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them to determine what their goals, ambitions and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery.
This is an integral role for With You - you will manage an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity.
You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. We will provide you with the training and support that you need to develop in your role so whilst experience is preferred it is not essential, please make sure to demonstrate your interest in the position and your transferable skills in your application.
You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. A driving licence is preferred for this role. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.

Please note, working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with some Saturday and late night work required on a rota basis.
