Job summary

With You is recruiting a Recovery Worker in Weston-super-Mare to join a diverse team delivering high-quality recovery care for people affected by substances, mental health, and related challenges. The role offers progression within an established, multi-disciplinary service and requires dedication to person-centred care.

The position is full-time, 37.5 hours weekly (09:00–17:00) with a fixed-term until 31/03/2028; a part-time 22.5 hours option may also be available.

Join us as a Recovery Worker in Weston-super-Mare.

Our team in Weston-super-Mare are recruiting for Recovery Workers to join their team in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £26,250 pro rata, per annum. The salary for this role is on an incremental scale and will rise each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,900 per annum.

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our clients.

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities.

We are looking for a Recovery Worker, working 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 - 17:00 and a Part Time Recovery Worker working 22.5 hours per weeks. You will be required to work a Wednesday evening and will be given time in lieu during the working week. The position is fixed term until 31/03/2028.

We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people. You will also be organised with excellent time management skills.

To be successful in this role you will:

• have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
• have some experience of delivering services in a community setting
• have knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions
• have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
• be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
• able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and be happy to support other With You locations when needed
