Our team in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are recruiting for a Recovery Worker, to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. We Are With You's Bournemouth SPOC (Single Point of Contact) Service provides free and confidential support to individuals needing assistance with alcohol and substance use. The SPOC Team supports service users at the beginning of their treatment journey within the BCP treatment system. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing a caseload, care planning, risk management, and supporting clients to achieve their personalized goals. We deliver harm minimization interventions within our needle exchange and psychosocial interventions through workshops, including preparation and aftercare planning to facilitate referrals towards detoxification programs and residential rehabilitation.
Our Recovery Workers collaborate with service users to help them identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. They work with clients to develop tailored treatment plans and guide them on their recovery journey. This frontline role involves delivering continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, intervention delivery, and key work responsibilities. Recovery Workers manage active caseloads, connect quickly with clients, and treat them with respect and dignity. They play a vital role in supporting clients to realize their goals and passions, creating personalized treatment plans to support their recovery.
The position involves 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as required. The salary ranges from £23,821 to £25,000 per annum.
