NHS is seeking a passionate Recovery Worker in South Ayrshire to support individuals with alcohol and drug use challenges. This role involves collaboration with clients to create treatment plans and manage a caseload, promoting recovery in a supportive environment. Our service in South Ayrshire provides support to people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Recovery Worker who is motivated to work as part of a thriving and diverse team, ensuring recovery opportunities are available for individuals at any point in their recovery journey.
Our Recovery Workers work with our service users to help them determine their goals, ambitions, and passions. They collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans and support them back onto the path to recovery. This role is integral to With You, as a frontline worker, delivering continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, intervention delivery, and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with service users, treating them respectfully and with dignity.

You will work collaboratively with partners and communities to ensure accessibility and uphold the principles of a Recovery Oriented System of Care and person-centered practice. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) are essential for this role.
We operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free support to more than 100,000 people each year.
The closing date for applications is 23rd July 2025. The position is full-time, permanent, with a salary of £25,000 per annum. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, with occasional late-night Tuesday and Saturday morning shifts as needed.
