About the role

Recovery Workers support clients in setting and achieving their goals, creating personalized treatment plans, and guiding their recovery journey. This frontline role involves providing continuity of care through partnership working, care coordination, key work, and interventions. You will manage an active caseload, connect with clients promptly, and treat everyone with respect and dignity.

This is a fixed-term role until March 2026, working 37.5 hours weekly (including Wednesday evenings). The salary is up to £27,000, depending on experience.

What we’re looking for

We seek a compassionate, motivated individual with strong relationship-building skills. Experience in health, social care, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred, or a genuine motivation to work in the drug and alcohol sector. Proven customer service skills are essential.

You should be highly organized, an excellent communicator, and effective in time management. Teamwork and a positive, engaging attitude towards clients and stakeholders are crucial.

Knowledge of group work, assessment, care planning, and key working, along with understanding client issues, is desirable.
