If you are enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about helping others, we’d love to hear from you.

We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services including outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice, and a residential rehabilitation facility.

About the role

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and guide them on their path to recovery.

This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connect quickly with clients, and ensure they are always treated with respect and dignity.

You will have demonstrable experience working within health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings, or a clear motivation for working in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential.

You will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service. Above all, we are looking for someone passionate about our mission with a positive and engaging approach to clients and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
  • Resilient under pressure and able to prioritize work
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • IT competent
  • Flexible with working hours occasionally
  • Willing to support other With You locations as needed
