Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a specialist substance misuse service in Nottinghamshire on a full-time, 3-month contract. The role involves managing a caseload, carrying out assessments, and providing one-to-one support to help individuals engage with treatment and achieve recovery.

Working hours are Monday–Friday with pay in the £18.14–£23.00 per hour range depending on PAYE or Umbrella/Ltd arrangements.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience working within substance misuse services.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of individuals experiencing substance misuse issues.
• Carrying out assessments and developing individualised recovery plans.
• Providing one-to-one support and interventions.
• Supporting service users to engage with appropriate treatment and external services.
• Promoting harm reduction and positive lifestyle changes.
• Working collaboratively with health, social care and other partner agencies.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential case records.
• Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
• Supporting vulnerable adults and working within safeguarding procedures relating to children and young people.
• Attending relevant meetings and contributing to multi-agency working.

The Role

As a Recovery Worker, you will support individuals experiencing issues with drugs and/or alcohol, helping them to engage with treatment, reduce harm and work towards long-term recovery.

Your responsibilities will include:
