Care Plus Group's Community Inpatient Unit is seeking a Recovery Worker (nights) to join its MDT. Base: Community Inpatient Unit. Hours: 18 per week on a permanent rota.

Salary: £25,275 pro rata per annum. Join a multi-disciplinary team delivering short-term rehab and reablement to help patients regain independence after illness or surgery. You will work under direction of Nursing team and Assistant Practitioner, and maintain records, follow protocols, and support service users toward

Qualifications

  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required.
  • Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent competence is required.
  • Experience of working with patients/service users is essential.

Job Summary

Community Inpatient unit is a bed-based facility supporting people to recover and regain their independence following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or significant event. It supports hospital discharges, prevents admission to hospital or long-term care and promotes independent living. It is a multi-disciplinary service with Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Social Workers, and care staff.

£25,275 fixed salary point pro rata per annum.

We are seeking some highly motivated and passionate Recovery Worker to join the MDT team at Community inpatient unit. The service provides short term rehab and reablement for Services Users who may need to regain their confidence and skills on discharge from hospital or to get over a short-term health exacerbation.

We encourage and support our Service Users to live as independent lives as possible and we always act in a manner that supports the care, protection, health and well-being of the Service User.

You will work alongside a wider MDT based at CIU including Nurses, Social Workers, Therapists and Assistant Practitioner to support service users to reach their rehab potential and move forward in their health journey.

You will work under direction of the HCA/ Assistant Practitioner and Nursing team and will carry out assigned tasks involving personal and nutritional care needs to patients.

You will follow protocols, guidance, and procedures under the direction of senior staff/ manager/supervisor.

  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in using SystemOne.
Qualifications - Essential
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Level 2 qualification in Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent level of competence.
