Community Inpatient Unit providesRehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North EastLincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, preventunnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-termcare, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent livingwherever possible. Multi-professional staff will collaborate with individualsto ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level ofindependence, health, and wellbeing.

Salary Range 2£21,841 (under 21) - £23,875 (over 21) fixed salary point pro rata per annum.
We are seeking somehighly motivated and passionate recovery workers to join the MDT team atCommunity inpatient unit. The service provides short term rehab and reablementfor Services Users who may need to regain their confidence and skills ondischarge from hospital or to get over a short-term health exacerbation. Weencourage and support our Service Users to live as independent lives aspossible and we always act in a manner that supports the care, protection,health and well-being of the Service User. This post will work alongside awider MDT based at CIU including Nurses, Social Workers, Therapists andAssistant Practitioner to support service users to reach their rehab potentialand move forward in their health journey.
As arecovery worker you will support patients with personal and nutritional careneeds, working with nurses and therapist to delivery enhanced care, supportindividuals to regain independence via motivational and encouragementtechniques.
You willwork under direction of the HCA/Assistant Practitioner and Nursing team andwill carry out assigned tasks involving personal and nutritional care needs topatients. The post holder will followprotocols, guidance, and procedures under direction.
