Red Sector Recruitment Limited is seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Swindon on a 6 month contract to start ASAP. The role involves supporting service users through the recovery journey with screening, assessment and onward referral.

The position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pay between £22-23 per hour. An Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS on the Update Service is required for this position.

• Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promoting carer, service user and community involvement.
• Providing advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination.

We currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Swindon on a 6 month contract to start ASAP.

The rate of pay will be negotiated between £22-23 an hour. This will be 37.5 Hour a Week Contract, Monday to Friday.
