Job description

Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider in their recruitment for a Recovery Worker. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals suffering from Drug & Alcohol addiction. The ideal candidate should be experienced in the field, highly driven, and capable of recognizing potential within service users and fostering their development.

Working hours: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours.
Pay rates:
- Up to £14.26 PAYE per hour (excluding holiday pay)
- £15.99 PAYE per hour (including holiday pay)
- £18 Umbrella rate per hour

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments for service users
  • Support individuals from point of entry
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery plans
  • Deliver one-to-one interventions

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience working within the substance misuse field
  • Awareness of health issues related to substance misuse
  • Experience with key working and care planning
