Up to £23400 per annum + pro rata + benefits


Are you keen to join a dynamic and forward thinking organisation who are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges? If so, read on. We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join their team to work on a rota covering day shifts, 30 hours per week.

The role:

  • Provide support to individuals with mental health issues, promoting recovery and independence.
  • Assist clients in developing personal support plans and achieving their goals.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being.
  • Encourage and support the residents to help them achieve their personal goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service delivery.
  • Adhere to all relevant internal policies & procedures.

Ideal Candidate and Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting vulnerable people particularly within mental health settings.
  • Understanding of mental health problems and their impact on individuals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Knowledge of adult services and support work practices.
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach to care.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and sensitivity.
