Job summary

Lloyd's Register International in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Recovery & Wellbeing Practitioner to deliver substance misuse support within Cheshire West & Chester. You will assess service users, manage a small caseload and provide harm reduction advice in a supportive environment.

Working 30 hours per week on a permanent basis, you will collaborate with colleagues, carers and partners to enable positive outcomes, while upholding safeguarding principles and the organisation's values.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering substance misuse support and recovery services.
• Ability to undertake client assessments and manage a small caseload.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver harm reduction advice and psychosocial interventions.
• Carry out assessments and manage a small caseload.
• Provide needle and syringe exchanges, blood-borne virus testing and overdose prevention advice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to policy and safeguarding principles.
