Recovery Outreach Worker

Service Care Solutions are supporting a non-profit provider and they are currently recruiting for a Recovery Outreach Worker. As a Recovery Outreach Worker you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals that are suffering with Drug & Alcohol addiction. The Ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field but also someone who is highly driven and can identify positivity within a service user and have the ability to develop potential within.

Who We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

  1. Experience walking alongside people who've been excluded from or harmed by mainstream services, particularly those experiencing drug & alcohol issues and homelessness.
  2. Some understanding of healing, recovery journeys being personal.
  3. The ability to document our work thoughtfully, capturing important details while honouring people's stories in case notes.
  4. Confidence to speak up - both advocating for community members and contributing your voice within our team.
  5. Willingness to share your insights and learning, helping our whole team grow.
  6. Understanding of African Caribbean, global majority, dual heritage experiences from the inside - through lived experience or deep community connection.
