Job summary

The Forward Trust in Sutton is seeking a Substance Misuse Health Care Assistant to join our integrated healthcare team within a secure environment. You will deliver nursing care and psychosocial interventions to clients undergoing treatment and support their recovery journey in line with clinical protocols.

Working with Registered Nurses and other professionals, you will monitor health, maintain records, and contribute to safeguarding while adhering to infection control and health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in substance misuse services or clinical settings.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with confidentiality and compassion.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills in clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and psychosocial interventions within an integrated framework.
• Monitor and report on clients' health and wellbeing and support recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to safeguarding processes.
• Work in a prison or secure environment setting.
