Job summary

The Forward Trust seeks a Recovery Navigator in London to support individuals with substance misuse on probation, delivering face-to-face and virtual interventions across multiple boroughs. This in-person role focuses on building trust and helping clients access required services.

You will work within a flexible, multi-disciplinary team, travelling between local delivery units and offering advocacy, assessment, and recovery support to promote sustained change and reduce re-offending.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with substance misuse or complex needs.
• Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
• Flexible, proactive approach and commitment to empowering others.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse caseload of adult male prison leavers and those on community orders.
• Completing comprehensive assessments and creating collaborative action plans.
• Delivering one-to-one and group interventions (including virtual sessions).
• Maintaining accurate and timely records and liaising with partner agencies.
• Providing advice and information to empower individuals to act and progress.
