Recovery Co-ordinator

Working hours:

37 hours, Monday-Friday with the requirement to work one late night per week.

About the organization:

New Vision Bradford, launched on 1 April 2023, is a partnership between Waythrough, the Bridge Project, Project 6, and Creative Strength. It delivers an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford District, providing a safe environment for people to develop life skills and confidence, ultimately enabling them to rebuild their lives and become active, contributing members of the community.

About the role:

We are seeking a full-time Recovery Coordinator on a permanent basis, based at Unity. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting service users from entry through their treatment and recovery journey. The role involves managing a caseload, developing recovery plans, facilitating progression, and working collaboratively with partners.

Key duties include:
  1. Managing an adult caseload with various substance use issues.
  2. Devising, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
  3. Supporting individuals’ progression from engagement to self-sustained recovery.
  4. Reducing substance-related harm.
  5. Collaborating with key partners and colleagues.
  6. Supporting evening clinics.
About you:

Candidates should have:

  • At least 2 years’ full-time experience working with individuals with alcohol and/or drug problems or complex needs.
  • Experience managing a caseload.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to use initiative and be proactive.
