Job summary

CIH International Housing Group is seeking a Recovery Coordinator in Bromley. This full‑time locum role (3‑month contract) involves case management and delivering tailored recovery plans for individuals affected by substance misuse, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires previous Recovery Coordinator experience in substance misuse settings and essential CGL experience. The service focuses on meaningful recovery outcomes, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience as Recovery Coordinator within substance misuse services.
• Prior experience with Change Grow Live (CGL) is essential.
• Case management skills for complex caseloads and person-centered interventions.
• Strong knowledge of substance misuse, recovery models, harm reduction, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial caseload of individuals affected by substance misuse issues.
• Develop personalised recovery plans in partnership with service users and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Deliver tailored support and interventions to aid progression through recovery.
• Conduct regular assessments, reviews and risk assessments to ensure effective support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, support agencies and community organisations for holistic care.
• Deliver group sessions, workshops and peer support activities to encourage engagement.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with policies.
• Monitor progress and adjust recovery plans and interventions as required.
