We address poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support.

About the role…

We are excited to offer the position of Recovery Co-ordinator within our North Cumbria RSC Team.

Recovery Co-ordination is a diverse and rewarding role. Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing a caseload, developing, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
2. Facilitating and encouraging individuals’ progress from engagement through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
3. Reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
4. Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.

About you…

You should have a passion for making a difference and a commitment to fair chances for all.

You will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or higher/equivalent) or be willing to work towards it. You should have a good understanding of and ability to implement interventions such as brief interventions, MI, PSIs, CBT, and ITEP, with experience in delivering one-to-one and group therapeutic interventions.

You will be part of our North Cumbria RSC Team, a multidisciplinary recovery team including Recovery Coordinators, HOPE Workers, Medics, Housing and Criminal Justice workers, Individual Placement Specialists, and Volunteers.
