We're looking for a Recoveries Management Advisor to join our Consumer Finance team.

In this position, you will manage collections processes across our Manufacturer, Dealer, and Insurance networks. You will be responsible for ensuring prompt payment of invoices, managing customer arrears, and collaborating with third-party agents to recover bad debt. You'll be key to maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.

This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and resilience. You'll need to handle customer challenges with a positive attitude, deliver high-quality responses, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth account management.

THE ROLE

  • Liaising with customers across various networks to ensure timely payment of invoices and manage any arrears in line with company policy
  • Working with third-party agents to pursue vehicle repossessions and recover aged debts, minimizing potential write-offs
  • Maintaining accurate records, update systems, and manage your workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines
  • Working closely with Customer Service and Support Teams to ensure seamless account management and participate in monthly review meetings with third-party agents
  • Ensuring all actions comply with relevant legislation, including FCA regulations, the Data Protection Act, and the Consumer Credit Act

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Exceptional customer service, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to work under pressure
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, complaint handling, and managing customer expectations. Familiarity with FCA regulations is a plus
  • A flexible team player with a resilient, self-motivated, and positive mindset. A creative problem-solver with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
