Job summary

Capital on Tap is seeking a driven RecOps Specialist to own daily reconciliations across customer-facing money movements in the UK and US. You will partner with TechOps, Data, and Engineering to ensure accurate settlements and contribute to building scalable controls from the ground up.

The role is based in Cardiff with a hybrid arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote). You will play a pivotal part in shaping the reconciliation function, driving root-cause analysis and rapid improvements

Qualifications

• Experience with reconciliation and financial operations is a must.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Own reconciliation of customer-facing money movements across UK and US.
• Investigate unmatched items and breaks with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain current reconciliations with clear ownership and aging of items.
• Report on reconciliation status, break volumes, aging and root causes.
• Review and improve reconciliation processes and controls.
