Pontoon is seeking a meticulous Reconciliation Analyst for a 12-month contract based in the City Centre of Manchester. Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality control of processing, work allocation, and workflow within the Middle Office team and outsourced functions, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLD).
  • Review and approve work conducted by junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research on complex transactions, identifying solutions to multifaceted inquiries escalated from lower levels.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, facilitating the maintenance of trade static data, trade enrichment, and market claims.
  • Manage complex reconciliations analysis, including cash, asset, trade matching, and market value, while effectively resolving reconciliation breaks and trade fails.
  • Contribute to monthly end-client statement workflows, ad hoc reporting, and incident management as required.
  • Identify, resolve, and elevate any issues affecting the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) within the team.
  • Engage regularly with clients to answer questions and resolve complex transaction inquiries.
