We’re looking for a creative and passionate Recipe Developer to join the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen on a part-time, fixed-term basis. This is a unique, hands-on role in our London kitchen, perfect for someone looking to bring bold ideas to life over a fixed term contract, with the potential to extend.

You'll work closely with Yotam Ottolenghi and our experienced test kitchen team to develop recipes for features, Substack, and social media. This role is part-time, in-person, and ideal for someone with a strong culinary background who thrives on collaboration and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, test and refine recipes that reflect the Ottolenghi voice and values
• Support the creation of engaging content for social media, including food styling and behind-the-scenes footage
• Research food trends and ingredients that inspire fresh thinking and creative output
• Help keep the kitchen running smoothly—organised, stocked, and ready for action
• Participate in tastings, team brainstorms, and feedback sessions

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Has 3+ years’ experience as a chef and/or recipe developer
• Understands and loves the Ottolenghi style—diverse, bold, vegetable-forward, and globally inspired
• Is social-media savvy and comfortable styling food and working with photographers
• Brings energy, ideas, and a proactive, collaborative attitude
• Is available 2 days per week in our London test kitchen
