Job description

Dalkia has a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone to join their Glasgow-based team as a Receptionist / Workplace Support on a part-time basis.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the post-holder will provide reception cover and assist with facilities support and administrative duties, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient workplace environment. The role involves supporting daily operations, managing space and resources, and ensuring safety compliance.

The successful candidate will act as a liaison between departments, employees, and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and improve the workplace experience.

Work Location: EDF Atlantic Quay, Glasgow

Working Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am – 3pm

Reports to: Atlantic Quay Facilities Manager

Direct Reports: None

Job Overview: A customer-focused individual with a flexible approach, willing to support out-of-hours work if necessary. The role is vital in maintaining smooth daily operations, including setting works, supporting safety standards, and acting as a key contact within the building.

Responsibilities include safety and compliance checks, managing office supplies, welcoming visitors, supporting meetings, and maintaining communication with stakeholders. The role also involves problem-solving, adaptability, and delivering excellent customer service.
