Job Description:

FLOATING POSITION - 25 HRS

Main Reception - across multiple Wellbeing and Treatment Centres – Arches, Beech Hall, Bradbury, Carlisle, Crumlin Road, Grove, Knockbreda, Shankill

The post holder will contribute to the effective running of the Wellbeing and Treatment Centre (WTC) by providing efficient reception and administration services. The role involves delivering a quality reception and information service, ensuring internal and external satisfaction, and maintaining dignity and confidentiality at all times.

General Reception and Administration duties

  • Deal with telephone enquiries courteously and redirect calls as appropriate.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all services and operational activities in the WTC.
  • Provide Help Desk services for all departments, including reporting faults and maintenance issues, maintaining records, and following up as necessary.
  • Check in external staff and visitors, issue visitor passes, and keep records.
  • Operate reception as designated collection point (fax messages, parcels, deliveries).
  • Coordinate with Support Services and staff for smooth centre operations.
  • Order stock supplies as required.
  • Occasionally cover Main Reception shifts within the Centre and other WTCs.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language and Maths or equivalent/higher qualification, or one year experience in clerical/administration role.
  • Experience with at least one Microsoft Office product or equivalent.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Effective communication skills to meet the needs of the role.
  • Experience working in a pressurised environment.
