The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.

The Role
To deal with, in a professional and courteous manner, all visitors to Surrey Police Headquarters. To provide an efficient and effective service to all users of facilities at HQ and to deal with all enquiries in an efficient and polite manner.
Once in post, to take a proactive approach in gaining knowledge of key contacts within other departments.
Key Responsibilities
It is essential for the post holder to demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure while multi-tasking effectively. Excellent communication skills and being a team player supporting other team members when necessary are also essential.
It is desirable to have one year’s previous experience of work in a similar environment, dealing with customers/visitors in a face-to-face setting. You need to be computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft or Windows based packages and the ability to learn bespoke computer systems.

This role is based at our Headquarters site which is on the outskirts of Guildford, in Artington (approx 1.5 miles outside of Guildford Town Centre). There is free on-site parking.
The working hours for this role are as follows:
Monday 0800-1600
Tuesday 0800-1600
Friday 0700-1500
