Receptionist – 9-Month Contract (Late August Start)

We are delighted to be supporting one of our longstanding financial services clients in their search for a poised and proactive Receptionist to join them on a 9-month maternity cover contract, starting late August.
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a front-of-house role within an impeccably run, high-performing environment, where your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail will be deeply valued. Based in beautifully appointed West End offices, you’ll be the first impression for high-profile clients, senior stakeholders, and visiting colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct incoming calls with confidence and discretion
  • Oversee the daily visitor list and welcome guests with warmth and efficiency
  • Manage a busy meeting room calendar and ensure seamless room turnaround
  • Set up meeting rooms, organise refreshments, and clear down post-meeting
  • Coordinate catering for internal lunches and high-level meetings
  • Keep pantry and kitchen areas clean, tidy and well-stocked
  • Sort incoming and outgoing post and manage all courier bookings
  • Support document production: scanning, printing, binding and copying
  • Monitor and order office supplies, including recycling consumables such as toner
  • Issue and track visitor passes
  • Provide support to visiting colleagues and VIP guests as needed
