RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • NO TWO DAYS WILL EVER BE THE SAME.
  • IT IS VERY FAST PACED WITH LOTS OF ADMINISTRATIVE WORK FOR SLOW DAYS
  • Greet every Customer with a cheeful greeting
  • Operate switchboard telephone system
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
  • Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
  • Prepare sales gas tickets for the accounting department
  • Serve as a cashier
  • Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed
  • Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
  • Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount receivedon the repair order and/or counter ticket.
  • Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by thedealership and any changes in price.
  • Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customerto the appropriate individual for further communication.
  • Be the eyes and ears on the floor for the sales manager while running the up system.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
